THE FIRST SCIENTIFIC GRANT AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO MANAGE MY OWN RESEARCH PROJECT
The Young Researcher Grant program (as part of the university’s INTEREKON program) enabled me to manage the first research project. In this research, I apply the econometric approach to study changes in the Chinese wind energy sector regarding the central level’s policies. The research problem of this project is theoretical and empirical in nature. It can be formulated as a synthetic question – How did the instruments implemented by the central government of the PRC impact the development of Chinese wind energy in 2005-2019?
The research project is conducted in cooperation with BIOSTAT – the company, which carries out the part of the project related to conducting statistical analyses. I want to express my profound gratitude to Dr Andrzej Tomski, whose flawless calculations, full commitment and creativity in solving complex scientific problems enabled the implementation of many tasks provided for in the project.
I will describe a detailed description of the tasks, goals and subsequent stages of the project after presenting all the results and planned publications.
The total amount of the grant is 17 335.00 PLN (~4100 EUR). Currently, the stage of implementation of all the envisaged substantive tasks has been completed. The expected date of publication of the results is the first half of 2022.
The project is financed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in Poland under
the programme “Regional Initiative of Excellence” 2019 – 2022 project number
015/RID/2018/19 total funding amount 10 721 040,00 PLN.
