Debate “With a View to the Hydrogen Revolution in Transport” at the European Commission Representation in Wrocław
I had the pleasure of participating as an expert in a debate on the hydrogen revolution in transport, held at the European House in Wrocław. Together with other specialists, we discussed the future of hydrogen-powered transport and its impact on Polish cities and municipalities.
What a passionate debate it was at Wrocław’s European House — a debate powered, of course, by hydrogen, just like the PileaH2 bus we rode afterwards.
During the event, we pondered key questions:
- When can we expect more stations and vehicles on Polish roads?
- How does the European Union support these monumental changes?
- Why should Polish cities and municipalities seriously consider hydrogenation of public transport?
I invite you to watch the broadcast “With a View to the Hydrogen Revolution in Transport”, where, as an expert from Team Europe Direct Poland and a researcher from the Wrocław University of Economics and Business, I, along with Marcin Fidler, Ewelina Włoch, and Joanna Kędzierska, contemplated the present and future of this revolution.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to ARP E-Vehicles Sp. z o.o. and the City of Rybnik for partnering in the event, which was jointly organized by the Regional Representation of the European Commission and the European Parliament Office in Wrocław. Many thanks also to the entire team at the European Union Information Point, especially Rafał Gwizd, Paweł Marciniak, and Izabela Szymańska. A report from the discussion can also be found on Akademickie Radio LUZ. I am delighted that the event gathered such a large group of hydrogen solutions enthusiasts and people interested in these revolutionary technologies. See you next time! The event couldn’t have taken place without the invaluable Magdalena Verdugo-Zakrzewska, who, during her Blue Book traineeship at the European Commission, took care of every organizational detail. Thank you, Magdalena!
